Visio 2003 ShapeStudio and sqlexpress2005

Anyone ever managed to get this setup and working, I can't get anything to
work properly and Google results are few but mainly with people with same
problem only several years ago :(

Visio 2003, and the 2003 SDK, were released before the release of SQL 2005,
so there was no testing done in this area that I know of. I know that
there were updates for database modeling in SP3 for Visio 2003, but I don't
think they impact the interaction of the ShapeStudio tool with SQL. Still
- it wouldn't hurt to be sure you have the latest service packs for Visio
installed, latest security updates, etc.

Also, were you able to successfully run the SQL scripts which set up the
database and the connection for ShapeStudio? If you have errors trying to
run the scripts, that would be the place to focus first.

I wasn't able to make the ShapeStudio to work with any combination of
SQL2008, SQL2005, SQL2005Exp, Visio 2007 and Visio 2003, on X64 or x86 OS.

Did anybody ever got it working?
