I had an issue on a Windows 2008 R2 machine (joined to windows 2000 DC)
When I tried to add domain users to the Windows 2008 R2 Server it gave me an
error:
"Trust relationship between this workstation and primary domain failed"
I did some searching and found the solution to the problem was to disabled
the following:
"Computer Configuration\Windows Setting\Security Settings\Local
Policies\Security Option"
Domain Member: Digitally encrypt or sign secure channel data (always)
Domain Member: Digitally encrypt secure channel data (When possible)
Domain Member: Digitally sign secure channel data (When possible)
I am getting the same Domain trust error when attempting Live Migrations on
my Stand alone Hyper V 2008 R2 Servers.
I have looked in their local policy and they do not have the Computer
Configuration\Windows Setting\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security
Option.
Any ideas on how I would disable Digitally encrpyt or sign secure channel
data on a Stand alone Hyper V 2008 R2 Server???
