We are running Windows Server 2003 and have installed VMWare to run as a
secondary domain controller. After installing and configuring VMWare,
promoting it to a domain controller, and demoting the third domain
controller, we rebooted the server on which the Virtual Server lies. After
rebooting, the VMWare Registration Service and VMWare Authorization Service
failed to start. When I attempt to start the Registration Service, I get an
error message that says "Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed
to start."

If there's anyone out there who is familiar with virtual server, I would
greatly appreciate your help with this. I have no experience with it, and
would like to fix this without having to reinstall it.

This news group is for Microsoft's Virtual Server product. If you want
support for VMware, then you should be posting the VMware support forums,
not the Microsoft ones.

The program is absolutely right; therefore, the computer must be wrong.
