Hi,

I'm trying to choose a laptop to act as a lab for MCTS and MCITP Certs and
have a question about running Windows Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V on that
laptop.

Would it be possible to install Server 2008 R2 with Hyper-V into a VHD under
VirtualPC 2007 SP1 or would it be recommended to simply install Server 2008
R2 as the laptop OS.

In either case I assume that the laptop CPU _MUST_ be either Intel-V or
AMD-V enabled?

Would appreciate any advice, thanks.

You can't use Hyper-V inside a virtual machine, so you'll need to
install it on the laptop. Not to mention Server2008 R2 / HyperV is
64-bit and VPC2007 only runs 32-bit OS's.

Yep.
