Hang when adding exisitng files

2000 Server Extensions. Everytime I try to add files and folders from
existing project (35 Folders and around 1500 files), Interdev just
hangs in the middle of the adding process. I try to add less folders
(3 at a time, approx 250 files), it still hangs. The program seems to
hang unconditionally. This has never been a problem when I was
working with my old computer on Window 2000.
Is this a bug or there is something wrong with my computer settings?
The worst part is there is no error message, and Interdev just
terminated automatically. When I check the Event Viewer, there are
different error and warning messages which I think probably relate to
the termination of Interdev. Would someone please help me with this?

I would really love to get Visual Studio to work on my new computer.
