I have an HP Pavilion a6757c pc, with amd phenom x4 processor and 7gb ram,
running Vista Premium (64 bit), Office 2007, Frontpage 2002, Norton 2009, and
other miscelleneous software...
I have trouble typing into any text area, including Outlook messages, Word
Docs, and this very text box right now... The input from my fingers does not
show up on the screen, at times...
There is not a hesitation that catches up later. There is a total stop to
any input from the keyboard. It does not follow any discernable rythm. The
condition simply appears and goes away...often. The cursor continues to
flash, but there is no action from the keyboard.
This is very frustrating.

Can anyone possibly help me with this?
Thanks for any time from anyone.
Jim

I am having the same problem. Did you ever find a fix?

No, I have yet to received any help on this issue. My guess is that this is
just one those legendary Vista glitches that has yet to be properly fixed.
However, I do notice that the problem seems to be worse just after my Norton
IS performs a full system scan... So, possibly it has something to do with
Vista's indexing feature? I don't know. I do know that the problem is very
annoying, and makes me kick myself at times for not listening to people who
tried to sell me another XP system... Good luck.

I just wanted to make a note here that I have Vista 64-bit SP1 and I am
experiencing the same problem described by those in this thread. It seems
that there is a general hesitation that occurs when entering, deleting or
even highlighting of text. If anyone has come up with a solution, please let
reply to this thread and let us know.
