Microsoft Streets & Trips 2008 Registry

I'm sure this has been asked before. Up until now Streets & Trips 2008 was
fine. Then it no longer will run. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it
several times. Each time I receive the message: "Your registry settings for
this application were not copied correctly. To correct these settings, run
Setup again for this application from the location where you originally
installed it." What can I do to correct this? I do not know a lot about
computers. Simply would be best.
