Tasks become milestone automatically when resource calendar is cha

Hi,

Got a peculiar problem!I have a task(say task1) that has been assigned a
resource , say 'A' and this task is marked done i.e it has both % complete
and % work complete set as 100%.Now I goto Tools >> Change Working Time and
change calendar timings for any resource other than 'A'.As soon as I do
this,the duration of task1 becomes 0 and task turns to milestone.Why is this
happening?I am not even changing the calendar of the resource that is
assigned to the task.

Also , this is happening only on machines that has MS Project 2003 with no
service pack.On machines with SP3 for MS Project 2003,such issue is not
encountered.
