Hi!

I'm trying to use a Rebar (also known as Coolbar) control in my MFC
based program, but it seems that the Win32 rebar sample code I use
cannot be easily translated to use MFC Objects with...

Is there any code or sample out there showing the use of rebar with MFC
???

Somebody wrote that the October update of VC++5 would support the use of
the new common controls of comctl32.dll, but I couldn't find any info.
on MS Website about any VC++5 update at all...

Thanks in advance...

Nicolas.

Try the October 97 issue of MSJ. The C/C++ Q&A section by Paul DiLascia
discusses an MFC coolbar. Try the URL www.microsoft.com\msj. Then goto
search and search on "coolbar". The 1st or 2nd response points to the
column. You can then download the code in the MSJ code section.

Go to http://www.codeguru.com and follow the link to the toolbar section for
my code which enhances CToolBar with the flat look, separators and grippers
etc.

It does not use re/cool bar but has the advantage that it is a simple drop
in replacement for CToolBAR (it is derived from CToolBar).

NOTE: This version works much better than Paul Dilascia's version on MSJ Q&A
column
