I get the following compiler error:

d:\projekte\3d constructor\implementation\source
code\c3dvisual\c3drenderer.cpp(6) : fatal error C1001: INTERNAL COMPILER
ERROR
(compiler file 'msc1.cpp', line 1794)
Please choose the Technical Support command on the Visual C++
Help menu, or open the Technical Support help file for more
information
Error executing cl.exe.

C3DRenderer.obj - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)

I commented all code I made since my last compiling and I executed "Clean"
and "Rebuild All" from the Build-Menu, read MSDN-lib for this compiler bug.
Nothing helped.
Further I get this error with every file of my project now.
Really strange....

What's on line 6? Being near the front, it seems like a header file might be
involved. Is there a syntax error in a header file just #include'd? (This
would explain why all files are giving you problems if the problem is in a
header.)

There are include files shared with all the files which give errors. But
they are only standard include files and one inlcude file from the
DirectX-SDK. I haven't changed the headers of these.
Is it possible that the errors are due to a corrupt project file (which is
not overwritten by "rebuild all")?

I can't think of why, but I'm not an expert so don't take my word for it!

I got two internal compiler errors in this past week. Both of them involved
trivial syntax errors (one of them was where I wrote "frienc" instead of
"friend").

What's on the line where it errs out?

It's alway the first line after the "#include" and "#define" statements.

Try deleting the .pch and .ncb files for the project. Sometimes bad ju-ju
in those files can give the compiler fits.

I don't have any more general ideas. As an attack strategy, I'd try
commenting out various things to see if either the behavior goes away or
changes. For example, comment out one of the includes. Or comment out the
line in question.

Good luck!

I have tried to compile my project on another PC: with success!! I have
uninstalled and reinstalled Visual Studio on my computer, applied SP5, all
with no success.
What else could I do?

I copied the project to another PC with studio installed, it compiled
without any errors. So I don't think it's one of the problems described in
the knowledge base. Furthermore I have outcommented all recent code since my
last successful build.

OK I found a solution: Turning of precompiled headers.
Even if I delete the .pch-files and recreate them (as stated in a
MS-Knowledgebase-article) the error persists. So for now I have to do it
without precompiled headers.

Anyway, thankyou for your effort to help me.
