If I search specifically by name it shows me all of the versions and then I can delete the ones that are in the "wrong" place, but I don't have the time or inclination (despite my love of procrastination by rearranging files) to search 1000 titles. So is there a simple Dropbox search function for duplicates, or do I have to download some kind of app that will do the job. Can you download file titles and locations to a spreadsheet? At least that would let me filter/sort and then go back and find the ones I want to delete.

If that's required, I don't want one that automatically deletes duplicates, I want to pick which ones are required, but if you have any recommendations of on that is easy to use and pretty much straight forward (nothing fancy required, just find the duplicates (or those that may have a similar name since sometimes they get saved with slightly different titles), I'd appreciate the help.
Once you've identified all the duplicates, using custom matching rules if need be, you can safely and easily choose which to delete. DON'T trust anything that offers to automatically delete all your duplicates, you WILL lose important photos! This plugin is safe. It groups all combinations of duplicates together so that you can choose individually, or do a mass-delete safely, guaranteeing to leave at least one copy of each duplicate set. is there an app that search and (eventually) delete duplicate files?
Mainly in pictures (so with picture related file extension), however, an app that search all duplicate files in storage would be very handy.

I was hoping for some app more integrated to NC application.
Some that allows me to decide what sort of duplicate file to search for (pictures/photo type or other types).
Also that allows me (in an easy way) to choose the files to delete (choosing the correct folder where the files are).

I tried the occ command but I only get the > prompt after sending the command with options (user and path)

Actually deleting a duplicate SKU can be done in three ways.
1) Just replace the SKU value with null value. This is as if you go to the product edit page from admin and remove the SKU value from there and then save the product. Obviously after that in your store the duplicate SKUs will not remain because you have made duplicates with null values. In such case your variant as well as product will still remain there in store, because you have only made SKU value as null.
2) Delete the related variant, in such case your variant having that SKU will get deleted, but your product will still remain there in your store.
3) Delete the product itself.
When you try to remove a duplicate SKU one by one by clicking on individual buttons then the app will not delete variant or product but this will only replace the SKU value with null value. On the same SKU duplicates page you will see another button, "Delete all in bulk" button. If you click on that button then a popup window will open. On that popup window you will find more instructions and alternative ways to delete duplicates. Try to select an appropriate option from that popup window and then hit the "Start delete" button given on that popup.
If you want to delete duplicate products then my recommendation is you should use the "Duplicate titles" page instead of the duplicate SKU page of the app. After delete all duplicates from duplicate titles then check it from the duplicate SKU page.

Second, it has a lot of control over how you compare. There isn't really any simple or auto way to cull real duplicates for an avid photographer. There are brackets, panorama groups, pairs, etc. Sometimes you're not looking for just the exact copy of the image, but very very very similar images. And in any case, as long as you're doing it, might as well cull. Photo Sweeper makes it easier to do that since it's oriented to how most photographers work. So you can extract duplicates, similar photos, or series of shots. And use stuff like size, aspect ratio, etc. to compare.
Collections are not much more than lists of file/image *references* that meet certain meta criteria. Just like a virtual copy is NOT a duplicate of the image, but just new/different metadata attached to a specific image.
Typically one can delete duplicate files on the My Cloud the same way they do on their computer. Use an application/software that searches the drive(s)/folders you designate and display any duplicate files/folders found.

I have a project consisting of a lot of sub projects. Consider three modules A,B,C. B depends on A and C depends on A and B. Both A,B,C have a test-applicationContext.xml files each. C uses A and B as a test-jar dependency. The problem is the duplicate finder plugin throws duplicate resources error for test-applicationContext.xml while compiling C. I tried to remove the test resources from module B by using the tag on the test-jar goal but maven still copies over the test resources from the test-classes directory. I verified that the test-jar created for module B does not have the xml file. Could anybody tell what is wrong?
With the new tabbed Finder in OS X 10.9 Mavericks, I am wondering if there is a way to implement an AppleScript that opens the duplicate in a new Finder tab instead of a new Finder window?Did anybody succeed in finding a solution?
