I am a Visual C++ Programmer with 3 years of experience. But I don't have
any detailed knowledge of COM/DCOM... etc. Can any one suggest me a "From
the ground up" book or any other source on COM/DCOM/ATL/ActiveX?
Thanks in advance.

Srivats

A very good intro to COM is Inside COM (MSPRESS) by Dale Rogerson
(ISBN-1-57231-349-8). Don Box, who writes a COM column in MSJ has just come
out with a book as well but I don't have its exact title.
The Essence of OLE with ActiveX (Prentice Hall PTR) by David S. Platt
(ISBN-0-13-570862-1) isn't bad either.
