Writing to a Text File

I need to be able to send text information to a text file from
VC6.

I've used the CArchive class in the past, but the text file it produces
is delimited by an unidentifiable character code. I need to be able
to read the text file the program produces, as well as import it into spread
sheets, etc..

Is there a way to change the delimiting character, or a better way to
write text files?


Any help would be appreciated,
