Runtime error 7 when downloading large files with Inet control

Dear all,

The application I'm working on uses the Microsoft Internet Transfer
Control 6.0 (Inet) with the GetChunk method in VB6 to download updated
components from our server. This has worked fine on hundreds of
installs with XP and more recently on Vista.

However, on one user's Windows Vista system, the application returns a
runtime error 7 "Out of memory" when downloading files larger than,
say, 6 MB.

Installing Vista hotfixes has had no effects; disabling installed
antivirus software (Norton) had no effect.

Does this problem sound familiar to anyone? Your thoughts on this
subject are greatly appreciated.
