Are there any APIs to draw 3D Text (raised / lowered / shadowed etc. ) ??

Yes -- take a look at the DrawState API -- it allows you to draw disabled
text and pictures. If you want to do it manually, it shouldn't be too hard.
Just print your text one time in the shadow color (black or gray), and then
print it again in the text color (whie for example) but offset from the
shadow you printed first. Print it a few pixels above and to the left or
below and to the right, depending on the effect you are trying to get.
