Hello everybody,

Could anybody help me to find VB6 resource Editor Add-in?

Visual Studio 6 Enterprise is installed on my computer, but unluckily no
resource editor for VB6. I could not access my CD-ROM because I am doing
overseas project. Could anybody send me the wizard of resource editor, or
let me know how to download it from M$ website?

I am crying......

Thank you in advance!

You can't download it from anywhere - if you don't have the CD then you're
out of luck.

And what the heck does "M$" mean?

Hello Klasu and Grinder,

Thank you for your effort!

The problem has been solved now. I used regsvr32 to register RESEDIT.DLL
under the directory of VB98\Wizard. Then it appeared in the list of Add-in
Manager of VB. I have no idear why VB6 didn't register it during
installation.

Surely because other user installed VB6 and not you, right?.

This is one of the few issues that could have been marked "By Design" by
Microsoft but they have marked it as "BUG":

Microsoft Knowledge Base - 190212
"BUG: Add-Ins Only Visible to the User Who Installs VB"

Best regards,
