Dear all,

When I try to run the setup program, by using pdw, an error message
"C:\Temp\Msftqws.pdw\st6unst.exe" displayed. The application is developed
under the Chinese verion of Win98, and the setup program is run under the
English Verion Win NT 4.0. Would you please tell me how to solve the
problem?

Thank you very much.

Mei,

This is probably a machine specific problem. Your best bet is to make sure
you are using the latest service pack for Visual Basic and then rebuild
your package. Check out the following KB article for information about it
and where to start troubleshooting.

Q216231 - FIX: VB6 App Setup Errors While Copying Files

To find a KB article you can type "MSKB articlenum" into Internet
Explorer's Address Bar (without the quotes) or you can go to
http://support.microsoft.com.

Dear Williamson,

Glad to receive your reply. However, I've seen this page "Q216231 - FIX:
VB6 App Setup Errors While Copying Files" before and I also tried to follow
the instructions, it could not work. The situation is that the setup
program can be run normally under one Machine, which is Win NT4.0 Chinese
SP3, and error occurs while I try to run it under Win NT4.0 English SP3.
And my VB6.0 Enterprise is SP5.

Really need your help. Thank you.
