Hi,
I have built an image on XP SP3. I have also set
UpdateServerProfileDirectory=1
before running sysprep so, the admin profile gets copied onto default prfile.

I loaded the image on a PC. Everyting seems to be working ok except and when
Outlook is launched it is promplting with Administrator mail box for Outlook
to finish the configuration. In my understanding Outlook should be complete
setting up using
the mailbox for the user logged on.

Does anyone have any suggestion on this please?

Hi Francis,

Did you ever find an answer to this issue?

I think my issue is the same/similar to yours. I syspreped a Win 7 PC with Outlook 2010 installed and the image has been installed on a few machines that are joined to a domain. When I'm logging in as an Active Directory user and run Outlook for the first time as that user I get the message:

'Cannot open your default e-mail folders. File access is denied. You do not have the permission required to access the file C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\Outlook Files\Outlook.pst'

As I'd logged on as a new user on that PC it should be running through the initial configuration wizard and not trying to access a PST in the administrator profile.
