The VB5 application seems everything ok, only sometimes I willl get the
following error message:

"Error 40002 was generated by MSRDO20.DLL
S1T00:[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Timeout expired"

I checked everywhere, but I couldn't find what caused the error. Our SQL
server seems ok with other applications.

Thanks advanced

Have you checked the errors collection for all error messages returned by
the driver? It is possible that Error 40002 is the last error which gets
displayed but the true problem is identified by an error message earlier in
the collection.

Try this:

Dim errCond as rdoError

For each errCond in errors
debug.print Str(errCond.Number) & ": " & errCond.Description &
vbCrLf
Next errCond

Examine the error list and it may shed light on your problem
