I'm need to do some simple selects on Oracle tables and the methods I used
for SQL Server and Sybase don't seem to work. Can anyone suggest a good
article on getting data out of Oracle tables?

VS2005 is actually a .NET product -

This is a VB6 and earlier group(VB Classic). VB.Net and all dotnet groups
have either "dotnet" or "vsnet" in the group name. Please use the following
group instead:

news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.dotnet.languages.vb
