Hi !

I have maded VB5 project where i use Mschart control.

Now i had to change program, but i do not have VB5 anymore, I have
VB6.

It seems that VB6 uses different Mschart control than VB5. because
when i tried to open my program in VB6 i got message that
i had to register my mschart.ocx.

What i had to do that i can use that VB5 mschart control in VB6 ?

This may be stupid question but if someone can help me please answer

Hi Juha. Take a look at the ReadMe file in your \COMMON\TOOLS\VB\CONTROLS
directory on your VB6 CD. Basically you have to merge the vbctrls.reg file
found in this directory into your registry.

I got the same problem.

The control in VB6 change is name to MSCHRT20.OCX
Change the reference in your project with this MS Chart.
You will have to rebuilt any control in your form with the new one.
Set properties, name, etc. as your older one.

And it should work, worked for me. : )
