Hi.
I am using VS2008 and an MS Access database. On a form, I am looking at
records from a table, say Equipment. I have i.a. 2 comboboxes on this form
showing manufacturers of PartA and PartB. I have separate tables for
manufacturers of PartA and PartB. Both have columns ManNumber and ManName.
On the form, I have 2 Combo Boxes to show and select a manufacturer for each
part. The comboboxes have binding sources bindingSourcePartA and
bindingSourcePartB. Display and value members are ManName and manNumber,
respectively. The Selected value member is set to bindingSourceEquipment -
ManPartA and bindingSourceEquipment - ManPartB. This is really such a
standard proceedure that I certainly did not expect any problem there. It
turns out that the text 'System.Data.DataRowView' keeps popping up in one or
both of my combo boxes. I have made similar construct several times in the
past (using VS2005; this is my first real VS2008 project) and cannot recall
having had any problems with that. I would be grateful for any hint

You need to ask in a dotnet newsgroup. This group is visted by users of
classic VB (VB6 and lower).
