[x-post] SOAP toolkit on Win2008 server and IIS7

Sorry for xposting, but it looks like this is a croos-tool issue and I know
SOAP Toolkit is widely used by the VB and VFP communities, so...

I have searched around the web but can't find clear answers to this
question: is it possible to have a 64bit windows OS run SOAP toolkit as a
server to provide web services to remote clients? And if yes, how does one
activate it, since with an out-of-the-box Win2K8 PC it's not working?
I'm trying on a W2K8 PC, but i think the situation with 64bit W2K3 is very
close to this one. I have found people saying that they were able to make
SOAP run, but no clear explanations of how.
I've found infos about enabling 32bit apps in IIS7, but if we activate that
option then we're no more able to reach the WSDL. As soon as we disable
32bit apps, we can reach the WSDL again. It's very strange. If we enable
32bit, it doesn't reach the WSDL and says that IIS is not finding the
web.config file or applicationhosts file or that one of them contains bad
xml or that IIS hasn't the rights to access these files.
Sice the options window says that 32bit apps get executed in WOW mode, we
searched under WOW64sys and found another inetsrv folder, so we tried
copying there the config files from system32\inetsrv, but no luck.
Is there someone here that may shed some light on this issue?
