Hi There.

I am geting this error whne i am trying to install MSINET.OCX on Vista. My
application(VB) was working fine in XP. I got Vista now. Then i had a problem
with MSINET.OCX control when i was trying to run my same application on
Vista. When i was trying to install MSINET>OCX i got thi error message.
"The module MSINET>OCX was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed
with error code 0x8002801c."

Is anyone can help meto sort this out for me.

It sounds like the setup is not running with sufficient permissions. The
fact that the user is Administrator no longer means anything in Vista. The
fix may be to run the setup program "As administrator". Right click the
setup program and select "Run as administrator". If necessary you may be
prompted for credentials.

Have you typed cmd in the Start Search box above the Start Orb and when cmd.exe
appears at the top of the Start Menu, right clicked on it and selected "Run as
Administrator" and then executed the regsvr command?

I would like to use a program that has worked in XP. I use Windows 7 now and now when I run my application gives error Msinet.ocx ... help meeeee
