I have built a GUI for editing and creating new USMT v3 and v4 XML templates
which you can find at http://simonjarvis.customer.netspace.net.au. You can
add and edit nearly all the features supported in USMT and take advantage of
the new features of v4. You can also test the templates on the local system
and create single deployable backup packages containing all your settings and
USMT binaries/manifest required in one single self extracting compressed
package.

Looks pretty nice... the one time I got to run the program. After I had
rebooted my workstation, the next time I tried to run it I got the message
that the evaluation period was expired.

I have released a new version today. Has restore GUI now along with a other
fixes.

Is there anyway i could run this tool remotely on a PC at another location.
Reason is so that i can capture a number of pc's each having their own
extractable pakage so that when i roll out new replacement PC's the process
is a matter of executing each package on each unique machine

Hello all,
I've downloaded this USMT tool but when I try to launch it, it says;
"Evaluation has expired. Would you like to check for updates?"
I click on Yes but all I get is a MS visual C++ debug error message...
Is there something I'm missing that did not get installed?
