Hello,
I was wondering how to go about using USMT migrating from WinXP 32bit to
Win7 64bit? I tried using the 32bit version on both and 64bit on both with
no luck also tried 32bit version on the xp machine and 64 version on Win7
machine and that didnt work either. Here is part of the loadstate log on
win7 machine using 32bit USMT 4.

Hello Bob -

Run 32bit USMT on 32bit OS and 64bit USMT on 64bit OS and you should be fine
-

Note - 64bit stores will not be restored on 32bit OS - they have some
compliance check -

I have run this many times and never had an issue -

Post the log for 64bit USMT on 64bit OS - you could be hitting something
else -
