I actually have two questions:
Q1. When installing and sharing Business Contact Manager I did not have to
install the software on the actual server just create the database and then
install, run and link the Business Contact Manager with the createddatabase
on the server. Is there away to do this with Office Accounting Professional
2008 as well, do not really want to be running the software on the server.
Q2. I installed Office Accounting Professional 2008 on the server and tried
to perform an integration with the Business Contact Manager Database, they
integration seemed to have finished ok but no contact were imported. Trying
to perform a second integration i get the following error message: Business
Contact Manager for Outlook database is in an incomplete integration state,
probably due to previous unsuccesful integration attenot, Please restore the
Business Contact Manager for Outlook databse to its pre-integrated state adn
then try to integrate again, Thank You! Now the Business Contact Manager
database backup that was created automatically before the integration
procedure seems to be very small (only 4mb) compared to the actuall database
and the hundreds of records its had. What can I do now to in order to
complete the integration and not loose any data from Business Contact Manager
database which is vital for us. P.S. Business Contact Manager database has
all the data in there and seems to work fine now. Please advice.
Thanks for your help.
Q2. Needs more information. In any case if you don't want to install on the
server you can integrate when you install OA on the workstation. As far as I
can tell this will only work properly (i.e. without a lot of technical
messing about) if you have both databases (BCM & OA) on the same machine

And look at
http://www.msofficeaccounting.co.uk/Training/taskbased/bcmsetup.aspx which
gives screen by screen instructions for integrating the two.

Thank you for your replies, however the links you have given me are not that
helpful.
Can you please explain what sort of problems I’ll be having with the licence
key, I am not sure what the problem will be? I am currently using a trial key
for OA.
Also for the integration problem I found and article on the knowledge base
for OA that was slightly helpful. It basically tells you to export the data
of BCM using outlook, create a new database and import the data back into it.
All good so far but trying to integrate again I got the same problem but I
noticed what the error was this time, the problem it gives me is that: there
is already an object named ‘SignUpInformationTable’ in the database.
Any ideas?
Thanks and Regards,
Kyriacos Aristodemou
Sorry, I can't help with the second error.
