Bank reconciliation and year end

I have been reconciling the bank account and have had no problems. TB agrees
to bank statement. However now that I have passed the year end, the bank rec
screen now shows all last years transactions as unreconciled however the
reconciled balance is correct. The only way that I can continue to rec the
bank is to ignore them.
