The basic form is almost perfect for my needs when printing invoices, however
there are a couple of changes I need to make with user designed fields. Is it
possible to copy edit this prinout or do I need to start a complete new
template off?

You can open your template by choosing Modify and before you make any
changes, go to File, Save As. Now you are in a position to make any
changes you want knowing that you have got an original copy on your system.

Sorry, on reading my post I didn't explain properly. I can modify the form
that produces the invoice printout OK, it's the printout template itself I
need to change. The basic one that prints by default is the on I need to
change, and that isn't in the invoice templates listing.

The default basic templates directly from the window are hard coded in
system; if you need to make any modifications you will need to use the word
templates as described in response.
