Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the
file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.
This is the message I get when I try to play a downloaded movie on wmp11.
I have vista home premium.
Help please.

Hi Fred,
Windows Media Player only support specific Video Formats. You must install
codec packs for watching another Video Formats on Windows Media Player. You
can install codec pack for Windows Media Player . For Example K-Lite Codec
Pack or Vista Codec Pack
