Powerpoint timing changes when converted to EXE using iExpress

When I follow instructions found on Indezine (publish PPT for CD, then use
iExpress to create an EXE file), the animation/narration timing changes just
enough to be annoyingly off. It plays fine as a slide show preview. Any
thoughts as to why and how to fix? Thanks!
