Microsoft Streets and Trips 2009

I just purchased streets and trips 2009. Tried to install the program. Got
error message
"a licnesing error occured. OxcOO4D301.

Help! did not install and save older version of S&T.

PS: I bought S&T 2009 tonight @ best buy # 573, Barboursville, WV. upon
install I checked NOT to save older version (2007)

There's been a discussion around this licensing initialization error has

Sorry it took so long, been on the road.
Called Microsoft support.
Had to install my S&T 08, then tech support ran patch and did the onlie
activation.
Only took 2 hr and 5 min to get it done.

This fix was to get S&T 2009 to work.
I'm guessing they had patch for earlier versions also, but she had me load
'08 after having '09 loaded, then used patch somehow to correct the problem.
Has been over a week now and '09 works good so far.
Just like everyone else sure wish icons were not taken out of 09 version.

I just purchased it tonight as well. According to what I have read you can
contact Microsoft for free help with installation at 8668348317. Am going to
try to call them in the morning
