can't logout from iscsi target w/ scheduled job

I have a batch file scheduled to login to an iscsi target late at
night.

A few minutes after that, I use backup exec to run a backup job on the
target.

A couple of hours after the job completes, I have another batch file
scheduled to log out of the iscsi target - only it doesn't work, and I
get the message "The session cannot be logged out since a device on
that session is currently being used."

Now when I run the logout batch file myself (under the same
credentials I have as the scheduled job) it always works. I even
scheduled three logout batch files in a row, spaced 5 minutes apart,
to see if the logout just didn't "take" on the first run, but it
failed all three times -- until I manually double-clicked on the batch
file.

Running under Windows Server 2003. Any ideas?
