Reinstall of SQL 2000 solves the issue

I tried what you said in the previous post but it did not
solve the issue.

Since your most recent message I disconnected my computer
from the network to isolate myself from the other SQL
servers on the network. What I have on my machine is an
install of SQL Server 2000 Standard. Over time I have
applied service packs 2 and 3 (and most recently 3a).
Disconnected I still get the error.

It does not matter which database I try to view the
properties for...same results.
Very Strange??

Well, after much frustration I decided to reload SQL 2000
on my computer and apply SP3a. I do not get the crash
now. I would like to try and find out what the problem
is though because I have multiple clients who are having
the same issue and a reinstall of SQL2000 is much more
difficult in their live environments.
Any more ideas?

Hi Kevin,

On my side, this post seems to be a separate post. Since I cannot find the
original post, I am not sure what problem it is (seems to be related to SQL
Server 2000 crash).

Since SQL Server crash has many causes (file corruption, conflicting
services, system issues, etc.), it is difficult to say which is the exact
cause without collecting more information. We need information like:
1. The exact service pack on SQL Server 2000.
2. How you can reproduce the problem?
3. The error message.
4. SQL Server error logs.
5. Windows Application and system event logs.
