Sql Server and MSDE

I have got the following reply from one of the microsoft rep on .msde

"I checked with the development team, multiserver administration is not
supported on SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE 2000) or Personal Edition.
I will file a bug to update the Books Online to reflect this.
"
So I guess it is not possible to use that functionality in my scenario
unfortunately.
