I have been attempting to install MS SQL Server 2000
Developer Edition on Windows PRO XP / SP1 with VS.NET
installed.
Developer Edition on Windows PRO XP / SP1 with VS.NET
installed.
The installation procedure keeps on aborting while trying
to register the Active-X components for SQL-Server 2000.
I have run rebuildm.exe -- so the basic server is up and
running. But the client tools will not initialize.
I have rebuilt the registry -- but the client tools will
not initialize.
I have looked for notes on INS5576._MP application error
0x77f6674 -- but no clues.
Is anyone aware of special notes for installing SQL-Server
2000 in Visual Studio.net ????
Does anyone at Microsoft care about their products???
