Hi,
I have a crucial question : does the SQL Critical Update
Kit Tools remove Slammer Worm if it is already active on
the server ?

The slammer worm is a memory only thing.... Rebooting the server removes
it.... However to prevent getting re-infected apply the security updates.

Wayne,
I believe that one can rid oneself of the SQL Slammer worm by just stopping and restarting the SQL Server service ... a complete reboot, I believe, shouldn't be necessary :-)
But you are definitely correct that only applying the security update will prevent a re-infection.
