There is a Webpart cab file that comes with the installation of RS.

Install the cab to Sharepoint

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server
extensions\60\BIN\stsadm.exe" -o addwppack -filename "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Reporting
Services\SharePoint\RSWebParts.cab"

Make RS Work with Sharepoint

Hi,

I tried the following on my RS and WSS server. They both reside on the same
server.

> "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server
> extensions\60\BIN\stsadm.exe" -o addwppack -filename "C:\Program
> Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Reporting
> Services\SharePoint\RSWebParts.cab"

I received the error "Command line error." from stsadm.exe and it listed its
usage and flags.

Any idea why? Thanks.

Hi,

I discovered the problem. It seems like the stsadm.exe tool takes the case
in -filename into consideration, i.e. it is case-sensitive.

The RSWebParts.cab file in the folder on my server is actually
rswebparts.cab. After reflecting this filename in the proper case, it worked.

i have tried this command correctly "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server
extensions\60\BIN\stsadm.exe" -o addwppack -filename "C:\Program
Files\Microsoft SQL Server\80\Tools\Reporting
Services\SharePoint\RSWebParts.cab"
but it gave me error like "Rs web Parts.cab: The webPart deployment failed"
plz help me to deal with it...
