RSS 2008: not showing embedded images in preview

Hi everybody!

I'm experiencing a weird behaviour while I try to achieve the following:

In my report header I have stacked a couple of images (up to 7 images on top
of each other).
I'm showing / hiding these images depending on a chosen parameter (for
instance: =Parameters!Produktion.Value<>6).

I'm using this technique in a series of reports, but I see a strange
behaviour in about 80% of the reports (the other 20% are working perfectly):

The preview of RRS (the web client) does not show the pic, but only a
placeholder (little icon with a red cross).
Funny enough, when I export the report to Word or Excel, everything is fine.
Exporting to pdf transform the pictures to something that lokks like a 1bit
b/w picture.

Any ideas what could cause these troubles?

By the way: Sometimes the preview wouldn't show simple textboxes either, but
exporting (and printing) works as expected.
