Hi,
I have transactional replication setup and it was working fine for one year. It suddenly started throwing the following error.

The process could not execute 'sp_MSpub_adjust_identity' on 'ServerName'. (Source: MSSQL_REPL, Error number: MSSQL_REPL22037)

I am using Windows 2003 and SQL server 2005 enterprise.

I could not find any solution to it except reinitializing the subscriber.

Any help is highly appreciated.

There are some reports that this could be a connectivity issue. Either way, if it happens again I'd enable logging of the erroring agent then analyse the log - post it up if it isn't clearer at this stage.

Thanks Paul. Definitely it is connectivity issue. The problem is how this connectivity get bad when it is running fine for months after months.

You could use ping -t to get an idea of the size problem. If you have the evidence that it lies out of SQL Server hten it's over tothe network guys :)
