Sorry about previous post .
----
I am having trouble enabling a user to access an OLAP cube off my Analysis
Server. I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction.

I am running Analysis Server (2000) on a Windows 2000 Server machine. I
have set up an OLAP role for the cube that includes the targeted user.

When the user attempts to create a new ODBC data source, they can see all
the OLAP databases, but cannot see the cubes in any of my databases. There
is an exception. They can see the Sales, Warehouse, and "Warehouse and
Sales" cubes in the "FoodMart 2000" OLAP database (unchanged from initial
install). When I establish my own "FoodMart 2000" OLAP DB ODBC Data Source
I see the same 3 cubes and 2-3 additional cubes. I don't see any difference
in the configurations.

Please help.

Jory:
When create the new role for the targeted user, have you set the "Cubes &
Mining Models" field to make your cubes accessible to the user? if you have
not set this field, the user can not see the cube though he can see the
olap database. (The default value of this field in the original foodmart
2000 would let all the cubes accessible to all users)
If you still have question, please feel free to put forward.
Thanks
