Standard Title: Network Engineer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: around 6 months
Rate: $/hr
Hands on experience with Cisco Nexus 7000/5000/2000-Network
Engineering and Troubleshooting experience.
-In-depth knowledge of layer 3 technologies, such as HSRP, EIGRP, OSPF
and BGP
-Packet Capture and analysis experience using tools such as Network
Analysis Modules (NAM) and/or WireShark.
-IOS Version management and IOS upgrades
-802.11a/b/g/n wireless networking and Cisco wireless implementation
and management
Required skills: Cisco CCNP Certification.
-Expert understanding of Quality of Service (QoS) provisioning,
monitoring, and management
-Understanding of Network infrastructure and best practices
-Experience with Cisco Router
-Experience with Switch Configuration
Desired skills CCIE - Routing and Switching
Experience with Remedy Incident and Service Request management
workflow.
Specific Job Description Balance Network Engineering and design, with
technical leadership of the Data Communications operations functional
area.
