Hello,

Lately I have encountered an error, which I do not know how to solve. The error
is as follows:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] General error: Unable to create file buffer

Any suggestion you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Cindy,

I read the articles you suggested but I don't think it would work because I
developed the ASP file using Visual InterDev and VB Scripts not C++.

Thank you very much nontheless.

Cindy,

I finally figured out the problem. The problem was that I did not create a file
dsn for both the workstation and IIS Server. Once I created the exact name and
setting for both the workstation and IIS server, the error went away. Now it
works perfectly.
