Job Description:
*Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to
*Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#, Entity Framework, DevOps
*Design, code, unit and integration tests for an ETL system
*Enhance existing systems by adding functionality
*Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
*Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
*Create new and extend existing operational documentation
*Improve and document development lifecycle processes
Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or 5- 8 years of similar experience in lieu of degree) and five years’ demonstrated experience:
Programming in ASP.NET (C#) using Microsoft Visual Studio. Expert-level knowledge of this environment is expected, programming in C# and use of Team Foundation Server/DevOps.
Must have minimum two years of experience writing unit and integration test code using XUnit.
Programming in Microsoft SQL Server using: T-SQL, Entity Framework. Knowledge of relational database design and programming is expected in T-SQL. Proficiency in Microsoft Entity Framework and LINQ is expected.
Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS is expected.
Any Azure or Blazor experience is a plus.
