Hello

I want to set a minimum word length on a Full Text Catalog to a value lower
than the default setting. Is this possible to do? When I look this issue up
on the Internet it can be done using MySQL. I am using SQL Server 2005.

Please advise...

Thanks,
Squirrel

There is no "minimum word length" option for FTS. There is however a noise
word file, which contains by default all single letters, and many short
words. If you replace the content of this file with a single blank space and
rebuild the index then it will index even single letters as "words". If you
however require single letters be ignored, leave them in and just remove all
the other words.
