Restore Database (lost DB-User accounts)

Hi,
each time I restore a database-dump on my stand by-system (2nd SQL-Server)
all db-user accounts are lost !
What can I do against that problem ?

Where are they lost? Do they not appear on the standby server? What
security model are you using, NT or stand alone?
