We are currently seeking a Data Warehouse/Data Mart Developer for our
Longmont, CO office. This position will be responsible for the
following:
* Design of logical and physical data models that achieve business
objectives and performance requirements, in a large volume
multi-platform enterprise environment
* Defining the logical data model design for the warehouse, overseeing
the ETL process for the final data warehouse repository, metadata
management
* Tool selection and implementation of the repository in End-User
Environment (OLAP, Query and Reporting, Business Intelligence Portals,
etc.)
* Extend the data mart to other data, and other client data sources
* Create/Configure Data Sources, Cubes, Dimensions
* Create/Import/Schedule DTS (Data Transformation Services) packages via
SQL Server Agent
Requirements
* Microsoft DTS & SQL Server 7 experience is a must!
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS, or discipline related to
area of assignment.
* 2-3 years of experience in data warehousing or decision support
environment, using data warehousing and business intelligence tools
* Hands on experience with design and development in dimensional data
modeling and ETL (extraction, transformation, and loading)
* Experience in, and excellent working knowledge of all aspects of
application development methodology, including business analysis,
requirements gathering design, implementation, integration, quality
assurance, documentation, and training.
