There is a way to improve Security in a DTS package? There is a special
property to allow or not to an user to read/execute or change a DTS package?

Thanks in advance

In article <ekH6OZfV$GA.265@cppssbbsa04>, dw <d...@gtarg.com> writes
Use the Package Password for this, set when you first save a package (or
do a Save As).
The Owner PW allows you to edit the package, the operator just allows
you to execute it.
More details in Books Online.

If a package has an owner and user password then the user with a user pwd
can execute the package, but not read it. If they have no pwd then they
can't touch the package. The user with the owner pwd can change it.
