I am evaluating a product from Secant Technologies called Extreme POS which
provides a persistence layer between our object model and the database.
And, I am looking for comments from anyone who has used Extreme POS or other
products like it; particularly with regards to implementation pitfalls,
performance, or other.

I am using Extreme POS with MSVC 6.0 and MS SQL 7.0. It is a very
interesting product as it automates the mapping between the OO model and the
relation model.
