Hi,

I have question related how many nodes SQL Server 2008 supports? it has
written 2 nodes only.

I have windows 2008 enterprise edition with 2 nodes, and SQL 2008 SE
Clustered install as Active\Passive. I am going to get 2 new windows 2008
enterprise edition nodes, which i am going to build Active\Active cluster,
and I am going to Install SQL Server 2008 SE on these nodes.

If I want to add all 4 windows nodes in to one cluster, and maintain 3 SQL
Instances in them as Active\Active\Active\Passive. is this possible solution
for SQL Server SE?

Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

SQL 2008 Standard Edition only works on two node clusters. It will not even
install on a three or more node cluster.
